Jamie Oliver offers £150,000 reward to find raiders

Chef wants to catch crooks who robbed his folks' pub

Jamie Oliver

Jamie Oliver has offered a £150,000 reward to help catch robbers who stole £10,000 from his mum and dad.

The five thugs armed with baseball bats pushed their way into The Cricketers in Clavering, Essex, pushing an 80-year-old kitchen worker to the ground and forcing staff to open a safe.

Jamie's parents, Trevor and Sally, who have owned the pub in Essex for the past 32 years, were not there during Sunday night's raid.

A spokesman for Jamie, 31 told the Mirror: 'He grew up in the pub and first learned to cook there. He's shocked that this kind of thing happens in a small village.'
