Nadine Coyle: Jesse split won't stop me cracking America

Singer is focusing on her career again

Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle has vowed not to let her break-up with Jesse Metcalfe hinder her career over the pond.

Nadine, 21, and the Desperate Housewives star, 28, split last month but Nadine isn't moping.

'I went to LA way before I met Jesse and fell completely in love with it,' she says. 'I knew then that as soon as I set my mind to it, I would move there.

'My whole family is starting to work in San Diego, just outside LA, so it makes sense for me to be there.'

But, it seems, her broken relationship has left Nadine a little cynical.

'Ultimately, money lasts longer than love,' she tells Sunday Magazine.

'I won't think about settling down and having children until I'm 30. I want to be at an age where I have done everything I want to do, so I can dedicate all my time to my family.'
