Star's last-ever movie to be screened at Cannes
Thursday, 12 April 2007
The last film Anna Nicole Smith made before her death is to receive its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
Illegal Alien was originally intended to be released in April but the 39-year-old's untimely death and the subsequent legal battles pushed the date back to next month.
The movie will now be shown at the festival shortly after it comes out on DVD on 1 May in the US.
In the film, Anna Nicole plays one of three extra-terrestrials who can morph into super-hot babes and arrive to protect the Earth from the intergalactic forces of evil.
The actress died of an accidental drugs overdose after being found unconscious in a Florida hotel room on 8 February.
