Ever wondered how your favourite designers got to where they are now? Where they started out? Who helped them along the way?
From the 17 April - 23 September the V&A has a free exhibition dedicated to 20 New York designers who launched their own labels in the five years between 1999 and 2004.
Check out tales that led to style sensations like Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen and even Sean 'Diddy' Combs for Sean John becoming successful.
Definitely one for fashion fanatics and budding designers alike.
