David Tennant: I'd love to be a Bond baddie

Doctor Who star has designs on being mean

David Tennant

He may play the good guy in Doctor Who, but it seems that David Tennant has hankerings for being a baddie.

The actor, 35, says he'd love to have a go at destroying the world as a Bond villain.

'I'd like to be a Bond baddie,' he admits. 'They always have some disability, don't they? I could have one leg and be stroking a chicken saying: "I've infected the world with bird flu."'

But he has no designs on stepping on Daniel Craig's toes and replacing him as 007.

'I think that job's taken for a while,' he said. 'Mind you, I said that about Doctor Who.'
