Scheming killer is found guilty of murdering her lover
Tuesday, 3 April 2007
Scheming Coronation Street killer Tracy Barlow has been sent to prison after being found guilty of murdering her boyfriend.
In last night's episode of the Weatherfield soap, Tracy was sentenced to life imprisonment and was told she must serve a minimum of 15 years.
She had falsely claimed she'd been the victim of domestic abuse after killing her cheating lover Charlie Stubbs. Producers had planned two endings, but decided that Tracy must go down for her crime.
A spokesman from the show told The Sun: 'Coronation Street is a moral show where cheats and murderers rarely prosper, so there was no way Tracy could ever get away with this crime.'
