Denise Van Outen: I fancied Jason Donovan

Presenter claims she used to have a crush on pop star

It seems even celebrities are not immune from having unfortunate teenage crushes.

Denise Van Outen, 32, admits that while growing up she had a soft spot for Neighbours' star Jason Donovan.

And she's thrilled he's going to be offering advice on her new show Any Dream Will Do.

'I had such a crush on Jason Donovan,' she told The Sun. 'I remember seeing him in Joseph when I was about 18 and thinking: "Cor!"

'So I'm very excited he'll be on the show as an expert. He's lovely. I know him from years ago, but I have to say, he's very happy with his wife and kids.'

Never mind, Denise, hopefully there should be enough new eye candy on the show competing to take his crown.
