Model claims she was ditched by fashion company for being too porky

Daisy Lowe claims she's considered too big to model.
The 17-year-old daughter of Pearl Lowe and Gavin Rossdale, has revealed she was recently dropped by a major fashion firm because of her weight.
'One jeans company invited me abroad to model their clothes before suddenly deciding they would rather have me on the front row as a "celebrity guest",' she tells the Daily Express.
'That was just an excuse. I know it was, because they thought I was too fat.
'I'm a size 8-10, which does make me big as a model. But I'm hoping to change the whole size zero debate by absolutely refusing to lose weight.'

I hate the fashion industry they make people feel negative about thier body and also lots of girls have become anorexic from these people . half the time the people they say fat is actually very healtyy indeed so take no notice of some people who think everyine should be stick thin!! :@
This Stroy Is So Sad. Daisy Is absolutley gorgeus and I'm so glad she has decided to refuse loosing the weight. It makes me sick how modelling companies would rather ahve unhealty size 0 models on there catwalk or in their magazines, than have a healthy, curvy and beautiful model. Well done daisy!
i think that people these days are so critical if you're thin or fat or curvy people should be comfie watever there size is!and just for the record daisy lowe is not porky I would consider her slim
What is wrong with the world? Why can't people accept that not everyone wants to have their ribs jutting out and a pancake belly? Daisy isn't even fat!!! She's barely curvy! Curves are better than being anorexic! Modelling agencies are always saying you just have to look natural, what's natural about a size 0? I hate the fact that teenage girls are killing themselves to look like Roxanne a.k.a. Louise out of hollyoaks! i'd never want to be a size 0, and I like my food too much to give it up!
I hate the fashion industry, it's all a load of rubbish what their saying! Plus size models are a size 8, what's plus about that? They always choose bulmic or anorexic people as models. I'd never loose weight because some poncy agency said i was fat. I am what I am, and you can't change me!
