No more Extras

Ricky Gervais decides to call time on his hit series

Ricky Gervais has called time on his second hit comedy show Extras.

The comedian, 45, will make just one more special episode of the programme which follows acting extra Andy Millman.

'Ricky is firmly of the opinion that third series are rarely a success and he has decided to quite while he is ahead,' a source tells The Sun.

'When he said goodbye to The Office with a two-part Christmas special, it was a smash hit both in the ratings and critically, so he's decided to do that again.'
