Kyran Bracken wins Dancing On Ice

Rugby star is champion of ITV1 skating show

He was firm favourite to become champion of Dancing On Ice 2007 and Kyran Bracken – with skating partner Melanie Lambert – pulled it off.

Blue singer Duncan James earned the fewest votes in tonight's final round and Kyran went on to outshine runner-up Clare Buckfield with a 'smouldering' Bolero routine.

'The last 11 weeks have been amazing,' Kyran, 36, told Phillip Schofield as he accepted the trophy.

Suspended by wires, the sportsman also shone in a stunning mid-air routine skated to Frank Sinatra's Come Fly With Me.

The three finalists will now take part in 35 shows with Dancing on Ice - The Tour which will be hosted by Andi Peters. The TV presenter has broken his ankle but he'll be hobbling along in plaster.

Also on the tour will be ex-Steps star Lisa Scott-Lee, Bonnie Langford and Neighbours star Stefan Booth.
