David Gest is charming his I'm A Celeb co-star

Liza Minnelli's ex steps out with Malandra Burrows

David Gest has become very friendly with his I'm A Celeb co-star Malandra Burrows.

The pair, who met in the Australian jungle last year, are thought to have got together after ex-Emmerdale star Malandra, 41, split from her boyfriend last month.

'It is early days but they are getting on really well,' a source tells The Sun. 'David told a few friends he was keen on Malandra after letting it slip he was taking her out on dates.

'They have been out on some romantic dinners and are really enjoying each other's company.'

David, 53, will soon be back on our screens as a judge in talent contest Grease Is The Word. But he has kept a low profile, in a romantic sense, since his divorce from Hollywood star Liza Minnelli.

Malandra's agent said: 'She got on well with all the jungle contestants. She is as friendly with David as with everyone else.'

So no photos of impresario thrusting his tongue down Malandra's throat? Dammit.
