Reese Witherspoon's post-split fashion makeover

Actress has a closet clear-out after separating from hubby

Every woman knows that when they split up with a partner, they ditch their old look and reinvent themselves with a new style.

And, it seems, celebrities aren't immune - just look at Reese Witherspoon.

Since filing for divorce from hubby Ryan Phillipe last October, the 30-year-old star has re-emerged as a super-sexy siren, with the help of her new adviser Olivier Theyskens.

'I've used a stylist before, but these days I'm kind of just going with Olivier's taste,' says Reese.

'At the Golden Globes this year (pictured) I felt like I looked more different than I've ever looked.'

The Walk The Line star also realised she was taking on the styles of the characters she plays - and decided to dump her wardrobe junk.

'I recently put a big pile of clothes on the floor of my closet, and I looked at a lot of the stuff and thought, "That's not me at all. What was I thinking?"

'For Legally Blonde I went through a pink phase like you wouldn't believe. Then there was a Marni phase when I was doing Sweet Home Alabama that was out of control.'

Looks like your back in the style driving seat now, Reese.
