Joss Stone is ordered to ditch her friends

Singer's pals are thought to be a bad influence

Joss Stone's aides have reportedly told her to stop hanging out with her older friends because they believe they are a bad influence.

The 19-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer shot to fame at the age of 15 but recently she's received some criticism.

Joss annoyed fans at The Brits by speaking in a strange American drawl and was later booed at a gig after she turned up an hour late.

Those close to the star think it's her friends who are leading her astray.

'Her people believe the route of the problem is closer to home,' an insider told the Daily Mirror.

'They think she has to take a look at the people she's surrounding herself with. She's always been friends with an older, more streetwise set, but there's a feeling that they're leading her down the wrong path - especially considering how young she is.

'There's a concern that she has grown up too fast too young.'
