Singer celebrates freedom by shopping and clubbing
Thursday, 8 March 2007
Did Robbie Williams keep a low-profile the day he checked out of rehab? Not on your life!
The 33-year-old singer, who left the Cottonwood de Tuscon clinic in Arizona a week early, spent his first day of freedom shopping and clubbing.
And the charismatic star took a break from his action-packed day to fool around in front of photographers and show off his new tattoo - the letters L-O-V-E on his right hand.
Robbie spent an hour and a half shopping in posh store Barneys before hitting West Hollywood nightclub Winston's with his friends.
But he sensibly didn't stay out too late - heading home to his LA mansion at 1.15am.
The singer says he'll continue his treatment for his addiction to prescription drugs as an out-patient at another clinic.
'He didn't leave the clinic because he couldn't handle it,' his sister Sally tells the Daily Mirror. 'There was an issue between staff and a patient that he wasn't happy with, so he decided to continue his treatment elsewhere.'
