All Saints split with label

Girl band part company with Parlophone Records

All Saints have split with their record company just months after reuniting.

Shaznay Lewis, 31, Mel Blatt, 31, Natalie Appleton, 33, and sister Nicole, 32, first burst on to the music scene in 1996 and managed to notch up eight top 10 hits before splitting in 2001.

But last November they reformed and released new album Studio 1 which unfortunately only made a lowly number 40 - even though their single Rock Steady made it into the top 10.

Last night a spokesperson for Parlophone Records said a mutual decision had been made to part company.

'Both the label and the group are proud of the album Studio 1,' they stated. 'All Saints are excited about moving forwards with their career and Parlophone wishes them the best of luck.'
