Naomi Campbell will have to wear sweaty workman's clothes

Supermodel's request to wash community service outfit is refused

When Naomi Campbell starts her community service today she won't be wearing the latest in trendy utility wear.

Instead the supermodel, 36, will have to kit herself out in sturdy workman's clothes.

And Naomi hasn't even been allowed to wash her sweaty gear first.

According to The Sun, her lawyers had put in a request that the catwalk diva would be allowed to take home the work clothes - including a shiny reflector jacket - to give them a proper clean first. But New York Sanitation bosses refused and said she could pick up her kit today like everyone else.

Naomi will carry out five days of community service as part of her punishment for throwing a mobile phone at her maid.
