Anne Hathaway: I don't want to snog my co-stars for real

Actress loathes fellow thesps trying a bit of tongue

Poor Anne Hathaway. The actress hates it when her co-stars get too passionate during smooching scenes.

The 24-year-old claims nearly all the actors she has worked with have tried to kiss her for real, except for her Becoming Jane co-star James McAvoy.

'With James, right before we started he turned to me and said, "Closed mouths, no tongue!" she reveals to Heart FM. 'That's what I normally say to people so it was a pleasure working with him.

'Sometimes you work with actors, and they can be lovely guys, but they have kind of dodgy instincts when it comes to kissing.

'They want to try to make it look a bit too real, if you know what I mean.'

But Anne has a special tactic to deal with any bloke who tries to invade her mouth.

'If that happens, you just have to close your teeth,' she explains. 'They end up licking at your gums and teeth... it's very attractive!'
