Model is frightened of modelling
Monday, 5 March 2007
She's been a model for over 20 years, yet Naomi Campbell still suffers from stage fright when she walks down a catwalk.
The 36-year-old has confessed she always feels nervous when waiting to strut her stuff.
'When I'm out there I'm a nervous wreck,' she says. 'I think, my God. I've got to show this, got to do this. I'm there to work for the designer. I'm not there to just show myself off.'
But Naomi does believe her butterflies are the secret to her success, and if they ever stop, she'll know it's time to she quit modelling for good.
She tells the Daily Express: 'The day I lose my nerves I think I will have to stop because the nervousness helps me - it pushes me to do my best.'
