Dancing On Ice star is ready to find Mr Right

Dancing On Ice star Clare Buckfield says she's well and truly over her ex, Declan Donnelly.

The 30-year-old actress, who starred in Grange Hill and 2Point4 Children, split up with TV star Dec, 31, three years ago.

But she says that even though they're still friends, she is definitely back on the dating scene.

'I've had a couple of relationships since we split with non-celebrities, but they didn't work out,' she tells the Daily Mirror.

'Maybe Mr Right is just around the corner. I understand why people always refer to me as Dec's ex but hope they'll soon stop.

'I hope Dancing On Ice will show me in a different light.'

And Clare is insistent that there are no hard feelings between the pair.

'Dec has said never say never - and I say the same,' she explains. 'The great thing is we're still friends and we still talk.

'We grew up together so we'll always have that and no one can take that away from us. Great things are happening for him, and me, and we're both happy for each other.'
