Lindsay Lohan has officially left rehab after completing a 30-day stay.

The 20-year-old actress checked out of Los Angeles' Wonderland Center on Friday.

'Lindsay has finished her stay at Wonderland and will continue the programme as an outpatient,' said her publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik.

'She is taking it one day at a time, as she is in it for the long haul. She asks that her privacy be respected.'

Lindsay checked into Wonderland on 18 January to be treated for alcoholism, following an all-night drinking binge at the Golden Globes.

During her stay, she was allowed to continue shooting her latest film I Know Who Killed Me, returning to the centre at night.

Concern about Lindsay's wild partying came to a head last summer, when Morgan Creek Productions CEO James G. Robinson reprimanded her unprofessional behaviour on the set of Georgia Rule.

In a letter, the producer blamed Lindsay's 'so-called exhaustion' on her 'ongoing all-night heavy partying' after she collapsed on set.

Reports about Lindsay's erratic behaviour continued to surface and, in December, her publicist confirmed the actress was attending Alcoholic Anonymous meetings.
