Gary Barlow: Robbie may never be happy

Singer sends best wishes to former bandmate

Gary Barlow

Gary Barlow has said he fears former bandmate Robbie Williams will never be happy.

The Take That singer believes Robbie, 33, - who checked into rehab for prescription drug addiction on Tuesday - has an inherent need to feel miserable.

'There are some people who will never be happy and I fear that Robbie will be one of them,' the 36-year-old told the Evening Standard. 'We haven't heard from him in ages, but the boys and I hope that he is OK.'

Gary, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald were accused of snubbing Robbie when they failed to mention him after collecting their award for British Single at last night's Brit Awards.

The boys celebrated their accolade, which they received for hit song Patience, by heading to exclusive London restaurant Mocoto.

Nice work, boys
