Tamzin Outhwaite: I spent Valentine's Day on my own

TV star spent last V-Day alone while her brother was rushed to hospital

Last year Tamzin Outhwaite had a miserable Valentine's day because she found out her brother has been involved in a massive road accident.

She'd been looking forward to a romantic evening with actor hubbie Tom Ellis but he arrived on set where she was filming to break the bad news.

'I thought his appearance was a romantic gesture, but it was actually much more than that,' recalls Tamzin. 'He came to tell me face to face that my brother had been involved in a horrendous car crash and was in hospital.'

Tamzin, 36, spent the evening worried sick while Tom rushed to her brother's bedside.

'Unfortunately I had to keep filming, so Tom spent that evening without me,' Tamzin told Saturday magazine. 'It was very far from a romantic night. You'll be glad to hear, though, that my brother's fine now.'

We think Tam deserves twice as many chocs today…
