Lily Allen: Daddy knows best
Lily Allen will go to the BRITs because her dad has said she must.
The Smile singer had threatened to boycott the prestigious event because she feared she would leave empty-handed, despite being nominated for four awards.
But Lily's father, comedian Keith Allen, told her she has to attend because she may never have the chance again.
And for once the 21-year-old singer has listened to him.
'It's not like the end of the world if I don't win something,' she tells The Sun. 'But when my dad found out I wasn't going, he went mad. He said it would be bad form.
'There's the split vote thing going on when you are nominated in all those categories, but I think Amy Winehouse will win the Best Female award and I don't think I will win anything.'
