No adoption for Jennifer Aniston?

Jen's adoption plans are on hold

Jennifer Aniston has put paid to rumours that she'll be adopting a child anytime soon.

The former Friends star, who recently split from Vince Vaughn, had reportedly been seeking advice on adopting two children.

But her representative has confirmed that even though Jen is interested in adoption, she has no immediate plans. 'She doesn't rule out the possibility in the future,' she added.

It seems the actress has still yet to let her friends in on the news, though.

A pal told US mag Life and Style Weekly: 'It could be weeks, not months, before Jen becomes a mother.

'She's meeting with adoption lawyers, and she's telling everyone to get ready - it's going to happen soon!'
