Hugh Grant: The Scrooge of Valentine's Day

Actor keeps romantic tendencies under wraps

Spare a thought for poor Jemima Khan this Valentine's Day.

It seems that not only is her boyfriend Hugh Grant Mr Grumpy when it comes to all things Hollywood, he also has a dislike for the more romantic things in life.

Just two days ago Hugh was bemoaning the horrors of being a famous actor and now even innocent love songs have got his goat.

When asked about his favourite Valentine's Day song the 46-year-old, who's currently staring with Drew Barrymore in rom-com Music And Lyrics, retorted: 'You can't ask a man that because he doesn't have an answer.

'But you could ask my co-star Drew Barrymore. She would probably come up with 4,000.'

Let's hope Miss Khan isn't holding out for a big gift.
