Cheryl Cole goes back to reality

Girls Aloud singer to be a judge on ITV talent show

It wasn't long ago that Cheryl Cole was merely a reality show contestant.

Just a few years and No 1 hits later, the Girls Aloud star has been asked to appear as a judge on a very similar show.

Yes, Cheryl, 23, has been asked to sit as a judge on ITV's latest offering - Britain's Got Talent.

Her glam presence will certainly be welcomed by her fellow judging buddies, Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan.

A show insider tells the Daily Mirror: 'Cheryl ticks all the boxes for us - she's young, beautiful and highly successful, and we think she'd be perfect for the show.

'It's fitting that she herself found fame and fortune thanks to ITV's show Popstars: The Rivals.'
