Katie Holmes: It was love at first sight with Tom Cruise

The actress felt her husband was The One

Katie knew Tom Cruise was the man for her the moment they met to discuss a film.

She says: 'I fell for him from the minute that I shook his hand for the first time.

'Tom makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and has since the day I met him. I love being with him and calling him my husband.'

She also tells US Harpers Bazaar about her first date with the Mission: Impossible star: 'It was in Los Angeles - my first motorcycle ride to the beach. It was amazing and fast.'

Katie, 28, and Tom, 44, wed in a lavish, fairytale wedding in November 2006 after the birth of their daughter, Suri, in April.

'I have a husband and children that I adore,' she says. 'I have a career that I really love. When I sit back and reflect, I am very grateful.'
