Uma Thurman to quit acting?

Actress may be waving goodbye to Hollywood

Uma Thurman has hinted that she may be about to give up acting to become a full-time mum.

Despite a string of hit films, Uma has revealed she's been giving serious thought to putting her career on hold to spend more time with daughter Maya, eight, and son, Roan, five.

Uma said yesterday: 'I love acting, truly it is the first love of my life. But I am thinking about becoming a stay-at-home mum.'

The Kill Bill star, 36, divorced the children's father, actor Ethan Hawke, in 2004 after six years together.

She has since had an on-off romance with hotelier Andre Balazs.

But she told the Daily Mirror: 'I'm not getting married. For any human a partner that you trust is invaluable and the partners that I trust most are my children.'
