Big Brother star wants to stage West End show
Monday, 29 January 2007
Jermaine Jackson has revealed that he and his family are planning a West End musical about their lives.
The singer announced the new project to presenter Davina McCall after he was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house on Sunday night.
Jermaine, 52, was a member of The Jackson 5 with his brothers Michael, Jackie, Tito and Marlon.
Today Jermaine's agent, Andy Varley, said: 'It will be the official Jackson Five musical.
'Michael has confirmed his involvement as have the rest of his brothers. 'It is a musical detailing the Jacksons in general over the course of the last 30 to 40 years, including their solo projects.
'They are in talks at the moment with a TV production company that will film this whole process for a documentary with the outcome being similar to Andrew Lloyd Webber's search for Maria in The Sound of Music.'
