Nadine Coyle crosses pond for Jesse

Irish singer moves to LA to be with Jesse Metcalfe

Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle is moving to LA to be with her boyfriend Jesse Metcalfe.

The singer, 21, is desperate to spend as much time as possible with the Desperate Housewives actor, 28, - even though it will mean a 12-hour commute back to the UK to perform with her band.

'Nadine sees LA as her permanent base now,' a source tells the Daily Mirror. 'She's actively looking for a home to buy with Jesse.

'At first she was only after an investment, but it seems it won't be long before Jesse pops the question so she wants to be there all the time.

'She is now only going to fly in for promotional work. It's going to be tough for her and the group - but it breaks her heart to be away from him.'

So much for girl power, although we'd probably cross the pond for Jesse, too.
