Pete Burns sues over alleged botched lip job
Pete Burns is suing a plastic surgeon for up to £1million.
The Celebrity Big Brother star's lawyers have issued High Court proceedings alleging negligence over a lip augmentation in 2003.
'What happened to me after a series of injections was far worse than any nightmare I could have envisioned,' Pete says.
The Dead Or Alive singer, 46, claims that after the procedure, he was unable to eat, drink or speak and his face looked so bad he spent seven months confined to his home.
'At times it leaves me seriously suicidal and depressed,' he says. 'I could have problems for the rest of my life.'
The damage was so bad, Pete claims, doctors have since warned him his lips may need to be amputated.
