Jay Kay's sky-high gig

Singer will attempt to break world record with sky-high flight

Jay Kay

Jay Kay will be attempting to enter the record books by performing a sky-high concert.

The Jamiroquai star will perform a gig to 200 lucky fans on board a jet at 35,000ft.

And he will be joined by a Guiness World Records official who will judge whether it is the highest ever concert.

'No one has ever done a gig like this before,' the 37-year-old tells The Sun. 'Rock 'n' roll is all about pushing the boundaries and Gig In The Sky certainly does that.'

The Boeing 757, which will be adapted to fit a stage and sound equipment, will take off from Munich, Germany on 27 February before landing at a secret European location for the after show party.
