Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton, 31, has won ITV1's singing contest Soapstar Superstar, beating Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon in a live final showdown.
He wins £200,000 but all the cash will be donated to the Elton John Aids Foundation.
'I'm absolutely gobsmacked,' said Antony after triumphing with his version of Tears For Fears' Mad World, Boyzone's Love Me For A Reason and Elton John's Daniel.
Hayley – who plays Delilah Dingle – sang the Pointer Sister's Jump, Atomic Kitten's Whole Again, and disco hit Feels Like I'm In Love.
Last year's winner Richard Fleeshman made a guest appearance and sang New York State Of Mind.Click here to see what's new in our photo gallery>>
