David Arquette blames Angelina for Jen & Brad's break-up

Courteney Cox's husband speaks oout

David Arquette – husband to Jennifer Aniston's Friends co-star Courteney Cox - is convinced she and Brad Pitt would have survived if he hadn't met Angelina.

'Jennifer is great,' David, 35, explained in an interview with US DJ Howard Stern. 'When her marriage to Brad ended, it was sad. I love Brad, he's a great guy but he did some stuff that hurt our friend.

'Finding out he was sleeping with Angelina was pretty much a surprise. They wouldn't have broke up if not for that.'

But David insists he's never seen Jennifer weeping about her divorce or fretting about the past.

'Did I ever see Jen cry? No, never. Not one tear shed... She's not really that sad about the whole thing. She's the greatest, she's such a sweetheart, she's so funny.

'I don't think Jennifer hates Angelina, I don't think it's like that... She's a very strong woman, she's totally solid and she's just got a great attitude.'

The 35-year-old actor also dismissed rumours that Jennifer's relationship with Vince Vaughn, her co-star in The Break-Up, was a sham.

'They did date,' he said. 'They really cared about each other.'
