Renée Zellweger: Living alone is scary

Some fans can try to get a little too close

Renee Zellweger

Renée Zellweger admits that she feels a little vulnerable as a single woman.

When things go bump in the night – or 'fans' get a little too persistent – she wishes she didn't feel so spooked.

'People usually mean no harm, but it's scary if there is a car idling outside your house in the middle of the woods at four in the morning,' she has admitted to The Independent.

'You realise you can't live there any more. It's sad, but that's how it works. It's no big deal. It's just a job hazard.

'I don't want to own a gun, but sometimes I do think about it.'

The 37-year-old, who was the wife of country singer Kenny Chesney for just four months, says: 'The only thing I would ever say about my marriage is that I carry that time in my heart, and I want to keep it there.'
