Beyonce: It's tough to be attractive

Singer finds it hard to be taken seriously

Next time you feel a wave of despair hit you as you catch your reflection in the mirror, spare a thought for poor Beyoncé Knowles.

The 25-year-old singer, who hits the big screen in February in movie Dreamgirls, finds being gorgeous one of her most pressing problems.

'Sometimes when you're attractive, people don't recognise that you're talented too,' she tells the News Of The World.

'If anything, that's been my toughest challenge. I have Grammys, and I am respected, but sometimes people don't pay attention to the voice when they have a face that distracts them.

'But I do try to look as good as I can.'
