Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz confirm split
Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz have confirmed that they have broken up.
The pair released a statement following tabloid reports claiming they had gone their separate ways after four years together.
It says: 'It has always been our preference not to comment on the status of our relationship, but out of respect for the time we've spent together, we feel compelled to do so now, in light of recent speculation and the number of inaccurate stories that are being reported by the media.
'We have, in fact, ended our romantic relationship and have done so mutually and as friends, with continued love and respect for each other.'
Justin, 25, met Cameron, 34, at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in April 2003. They are due to star together in new animated sequel Shrek The Third, which will be released in the spring.Click here to see our great new photo gallery>>
