Naomi Campbell: I’m a nervous Gemini

Supermodels says her personality is all down to astrology

Supermodel Naomi Campbell – who pleaded guilty in 1998 to assaulting her former assistant Georgina Galanis - reckons her star sign is responsible for her unpredictability.

‘Being a Gemini, to me, is not just about being two personalities and being two-faced,’ she says, ‘it’s also about being introvert and extrovert.

‘Sometimes I can go to an event – or an opening or something that involves me going into the public arena – and I am fine and I just get on with it. At other times I am like, “I can’t do it, I don’t want to go”, and I am a nervous wreck.'

The 36-year-old says that her mum Valerie, 55, who is in remission from breast cancer, and her 'core circle of people' know her best.

‘I have started liking myself,’ she tells You magazine. I have never pretended to be the perfect human being.’
