Russell Crowe misses his kids

Actor hates being away from his wife and sons

Russell Crowe, 42, pines for his children when he is away making movies.

The Gladiator star has two sons, Charlie, three, and six-month-old baby Tennyson, with wife Danielle Spencer, 36, and admits he longs to be close to them when he is away on set.

'I've got two boys now and the whole priority of my existence begins with what they and my wife need,' he says.

'Whatever they need is where every day begins. When I'm away from them when I'm working I get lonely for their company."

Russell recently admitted fatherhood had made him realise how shallow Tinsel Town is and helped him put his priorities in perspective.

'The world of celebrity becomes this strange place to live in,' he announced. 'But marriage and kids have made me less concerned with it.'
