Runner-up Ray Quinn gets record deal
He may have been beaten to The X Factor crown by Leona, but Ray Quinn isn't out in the cold yet.
Simon Cowell has signed him up to release a swing album which will be recorded in the same studio Frank Sinatra once used.
The 18-year-old will travel to LA next month to make the disc.
Simon, who created the ITV talent show, tells The Sun: 'I called on him after the final and said, "What are you doing on 16 January?" Ray said nothing so I said, "You'll be recording in Sinatra's old studio".'
