Matt Lucas weds - then celebrates with panto-themed bash

Little Britain star marries long-term boyfriend

Matt Lucas tied the knot with his boyfriend yesterday and then celebrated with a pantomime-themed party.

The Little Britain star, 32, became the legal partner of TV producer Kevin McGee at a low key civil ceremony in front of 30 guests.

Matt and Kevin then swapped the smart suits they wore during the ceremony for camp panto costumes for the evening bash at London Whitehall's swanky Banqueting House.

And the couple were joined by a host of celebs who entered into the spirit of things with their own spangly outfits.

Sir Elton John came dressed as Captain Hook while his partner David Furnish opted for Prince Charming. Will Young went all out as an ugly sister and Graham Norton was understated as Buttons.

Matt's co-star David Walliams kept things simple as a rosy-cheeked Christopher Biggins and Barbara Windsor adopted full fairy godmother garb.
