Baywatch star says her marriage to Kid Rock was a big mistake

Pamela Anderson says she married Kid Rock because being in St Tropez put her in a good mood.

And the Blonde And Blonder actress, 39, - who tied the knot on a yacht this summer and has already filed for divorce - claims she got carried away with the excitement of creating a family for her children.

'It was a big mistake, but I was in St. Tropez, I would have married the fisherman on the corner,' she told American DJ Howard Stern.

'I think I just got swept up and I wanted to have a family for my kids, but you remember really quickly when you get back together why you're not together.

'We just knew each other. We both wanted a family, we both have kids. But when we were together it just wasn't a good thing. We're just two very different people.'
