DJ earns extra £75k by playing his own jingles

Chris Moyles already has a pay packet that anyone would be proud of.

But on top of the £630,000 he picks up every year for hosting his Radio 1 breakfast show, he earns an extra £75,000 for playing his own jingles.

Everytime the DJ broadcasts a ditty he wrote himself, he collects £15. And he plays his quirky clips up to 19 times a day.

No wonder one jingle brags: 'Chris Moyles on Radio 1. He ain't good looking but hey, he's rich.'
