Nicole Richie's prison threat
Partly girl Nicole Richie may be sent to prison after police say she admitted to driving the wrong way on a motorway while on drugs.
The Simple Life star, 25, was picked up and arrested by Los Angeles police on Monday. Under tough California law, if she is convicted, a judge may jail her for a mimimum of five days.
According to police officers, Nicole confessed she had smoked marijuana and consumed the painkiller Vicodin.
A police source tells the Daily Mirror: 'Things are looking bad. She has admitted taking drugs and driving so it looks like a judge will have to send her to jail.'
