Courtney Love gives Pete Doherty rehab tips

Reformed wild child helps out Kate's bloke

Hard-living Courtney Love is helping Pete Doherty to beat his drugs problems.

The singer, who's Kurt Cobain's widow, says: 'I've talked to him on the phone. I think you have to really want it and seek it.'

Courtney, 42, has spent years battling her addictions and was finally forced into rehab after being threatened with a prison sentence.

'For me the threat of jail scared the living c**p out of me,' she explains.

Pete, 27, has been in trouble with the law again this week after being caught drinking on a Nottingham Street. But he escaped a £60 fine by handing over his can of lager.
