Emmerdale actress dazzles on the red carpet

Do our eyes deceive us, or has a soap actress turned up to an awards bash looking classy?

It appears 21-year-old Sammy, who plays Katie Adderman in Emmerdale, has broken the trashy trend in her elegant sequin dress from French Connection, £150, 6-16.

Hopefully she's upped the bar and will inspire her colleagues to follow suit because she was certainly the silver lining at the Inside Soap Awards in London.
