Sacha Baron Cohen's singing has been scrapped from his new film Sweeney Todd because it's so terrible.
The Borat star has been cast as Sweeney's hairdressing rival Signor Adolfo Pirelli in the Tim Burton adaptation of the musical, which will also star Johnny Depp in the lead role.
But it seems Sacha, 34, just isn't cut out for the operatic style of singing.
An insider tells The Sun: 'Pirelli is a notoriously demanding role with some difficult songs. Any professional singer would struggle. So Sacha has been told to go for a rap style. It will be a bit like Jim Broadbent's performance in Moulin Rouge. That won him a Bafta.'
The epic film of the Stephen Sondheim musical is due out next year.
