Pink funeral for Anna Nicole Smith

Actress to be buried tomorrow in the Bahamas

Anna Nicole Smith wil have a lavish pink-themed burial in the Bahamas tomorrow.

She will be interred in a custom-made gown in closed casket. The venue of the funeral ceremony is expected to be decorated with hundreds of pink flowers and she will be laid to rest alongside her 20-year-old son Daniel, who died last year.

Patrik Simpson, a friend, told the Sydney Morning Herald: 'It will be a very beautiful, Anna Nicole send-off. Of course it will be over the top because it's Anna Nicole.'

Patrik's partner Pol Atteu designed over 12 gowns for Anna, including the burial gown.

There had been a delay in her funeral proceedings because her mother Virgie Arthur wanted a burial in Texas. Her appeal was rejected yesterday.
