George Clooney: I'm past it

Actor says his knees are starting to crumble

He's been linked to a string of beautiful women, but George Clooney says he can't charm the ladies anymore.

The actor has won People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive title twice, but now says he feels past it.

'I can't have any woman I want, because I wake up and my knees hurt and I think, 'I'm 45,' he tells Newsweek.

Despite winning an Oscar for his role in Syriana last year, George also admits he's starting to prefer being behind the camera.

'Directing is the key to filmmaking. Everything else is just paint,' he says. 'I don't yell at people through a megaphone, though. I'm very modern. I have someone that I yell at and they yell it out loud.'
