Meet Dawn French, Vicky Pollard's mum

Dibley actress will star in a Little Britain Christmas special

Kate Moss played her sister in a Comic Relief special and now Dawn French is the latest celeb to play a member of the Pollard clan.

The Vicar of Dibley actress, 49, will don her tracksuit and trainers to play Vicky's mother Shelley in a two-part festive edition of Little Britain.

She turns up to bail her daughter out when she ends up in a Thai jail.

Paul McKenna and Peter Kay will also make guest appearances in the show, which sees the usual Little Britain characters causing trouble abroad.
